| Weaves – The 18K on sterling pieces are a classic yet innovative collection available at a very affordable price. Unlike vermeil or gold plating, bimetal is created through a special process which actually bonds a sheet of 18K gold to a sheet of sterling silver. This results in a product composed of 95% sterling silver and 5% 18K. Since each strip is gold on one side and silver on the other it naturally lends itself to being handwoven. The gold is guaranteed not to wear off. Maintaining the luster of the jewelry is easy: either polish with a cloth or use a commercial silver polishing cream (Do not use Tarnex). |
