Orbit Rings with Rainbow Sapphires™ — This new collection, which adds color to the original patented orbit ring designs of Gabriel D. Ofiesh II, won three major jewelry industry awards given at the AGTA Gem Show in Tucson in February 2001: the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) Spectrum Award; the Platinum Guild International's Platinum Honor Award; and the American Jewelry Manufacturers Award. Colored sapphires pave set in a delicate rainbow pattern encircle the outer band of the ring. Each ring is formed in a patented process which allows an orbiting band to freely revolve around the textured platinum surface ring. Fabricated by hand, these rings and pendants are available in a number of widths.
